Entrepreneurship and KOSGEB Supports Conference was Held at ÇAKÜ
The "Enterprise, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, KOSGEB Supports" conference, organized by Çankırı Karatekin University International Security and Politics Application and Research Center (UGSAM), Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Career Center, with the contributions of relevant stakeholders, was held on April 29, 2026, at the Ahmet Yesevi Conference Hall.
While KOSGEB Provincial Director Cengiz Uğur attended the conference as a speaker, many students as well as the academic and administrative staff of the university showed great interest in the program. At the event, the current dynamics of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, the impact of innovation on competitiveness and the support mechanisms offered by KOSGEB were discussed comprehensively.
Speaking at the program, KOSGEB Provincial Director Uğur stated that entrepreneurship should not be considered only as a process of establishing a business, and that it also includes a vision based on producing sustainable value. A successful entrepreneurial process; He emphasized that it is directly related to the ability to analyze opportunities correctly, adapt to changing market conditions and take risks when necessary.
In his speech, Uğur stated that in today's competitive environment, just producing is not enough, and that the elements of differentiation and innovation come to the fore. Drawing attention to the importance of creating added value, Uğur said; He stated that original ideas should be developed, new methods and innovative service models should be implemented instead of imitation products.
He also shared detailed information about the supports offered by KOSGEB to entrepreneurs and emphasized the importance of young entrepreneur candidates in particular benefiting from these opportunities effectively.
The conference, where participants' questions were answered, took place in an interactive environment and contributed to the sharing of knowledge and experience. The program ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a gift to the speaker, KOSGEB Provincial Director Cengiz Uğur.
