Security Management Conference Held at ÇAKÜ

The "Security Management" conference, organized in cooperation with Çankırı Karatekin University International Security and Politics Application and Research Center (UGSAM) and Career Center, was held on April 30, 2026, at the Red Conference Hall of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Çankırı Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Gendarmerie Senior Colonel Serhat Demiral attended the conference as a speaker.

The program, which attracted great interest from academic staff and students, was completed efficiently with the active contributions of the participants.

Within the scope of the event, topics such as the importance of security management, the role of inter-institutional coordination in ensuring public order, risk analysis and crisis management were discussed. Participants were provided with comprehensive information within the framework of current security approaches.

In his speech, Gendarmerie Senior Colonel Serhat Demiral shared information about the activities of the Gendarmerie General Command and emphasized that today's security approach is not limited to law enforcement only. Drawing attention to the importance of all segments of society acting in cooperation in ensuring security, Demiral touched upon the impact of technology in the field of security and presented examples of modern security practices.

The program ended after the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a gift to Gendarmerie Senior Colonel Serhat Demiral.
