Mechatronics Community's ÜNIDES Project was Successfully Completed
Academic Activity

The "Technology Bridge: Robotics Education from Campus to Rural" project, carried out by the Mechatronics Community operating within the Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department of Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Engineering, has been successfully completed.
Within the scope of the project, applied electronics, robotics and coding trainings were provided for secondary school students studying in Yapraklı district of Çankırı.
Within the scope of the project, which was implemented with the support of volunteer educators of university students, students were given practical training in basic electronics, robotics and coding fields in the four-day training program.
By explaining the algorithm and coding logic in the trainings, students were enabled to learn the block-based coding structure and develop their algorithm building skills. Within the scope of the program, the connections of line-following robots, the use of motor driver cards and the working principles of robots were explained practically.
On the last day of the project, a competition was held with line-following robots prepared by students under the guidance of educators.
Awards to the students who won the competition: It was presented by Yapraklı District Governor Mehmet İbrahim Tiyek, District National Education Director Lütfü Yalçın, Çankırı Karatekin University Technology Transfer Office General Manager Hüseyin Gökçe and Yapraklı Secondary School Principal Hüseyin Arısoy.
During the project, students had the opportunity to apply their technical knowledge and improve their teamwork and problem-solving skills. In the project, which aims to increase the interest of students with limited access to technology in science and technology, university students also gained important experiences in the fields of social responsibility, communication and mentoring.
The "Technology Bridge: Robotics Education from Campus to Rural" project contributed to the strengthening of university-society cooperation and provided significant support to raise young people's awareness of technology and engineering fields.
While Yapraklı Secondary School Directorate was thanked for their support to the project, success wishes were conveyed to the academics and students who took part in the project for their devoted work.
