Cultural Heritage of Anatolia was brought to the stage in Baku

Continuing its activities within Çankırı Karatekin University, Bir Sip of Anatolian Legend Folk Dances Community successfully represented Turkey at the International Folk Dances Festival held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

A total of 13 teams from five countries participated in the festival, which brought different cultures together on the same stage. The shows held within the scope of the festival contributed to the promotion of cultural diversity and strengthening the bonds of friendship between countries, while also providing unforgettable moments to the audience.

Lecturer See. Continuing its work under the coordination of Ahmet Kocadağ and coach Aydın Eroğlu, Bir Sip Anatolian Legend Folk Dances Group received great acclaim with its performances reflecting the rich folkloric heritage of Anatolia. The troupe represented our country in the best way by successfully introducing Turkish culture and folk dance tradition on the international platform with the shows they staged.

Cultural interactions with teams from different countries during the festival contributed to the strengthening of the spirit of friendship and solidarity and provided community members with an important international experience. Students had the opportunity to get to know different cultures closely and share cultural experiences.

While Çankırı Karatekin University continues its activities to support the social, artistic and cultural development of its students, it continues to be proud of the achievements of its student communities that successfully represent the university in national and international organizations.
