Graduation Meeting of Art and Design at ÇAKÜ

The 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Exhibition, organized by Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, was opened on June 2, 2026, at the Uluyazı Campus Health, Culture and Sports Department Foyer Area.

The exhibition, which featured works reflecting the knowledge, skills and artistic knowledge gained by students during their undergraduate education, brought together academics, students and art lovers.

The exhibition, consisting of original works of graduate candidates from different disciplines, revealed the faculty's understanding of education and the creative production processes of the students.

The opening speech of the exhibition was made by the Dean of the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Prof. Dr. It was performed by Ersoy Yılmaz.

In his speech, Yılmaz emphasized that art and design education is not limited to providing technical knowledge, but also develops students' original thinking, production and self-expression skills.

Stating that graduation exhibitions are a concrete outcome of the academic and artistic development of students, Yılmaz stated that the works in the exhibition are a reflection of the effort, creativity and disciplined work put in by the students during the four-year education period.

The Graduation Exhibition featured the graduation projects of a total of 46 students, 7 from the Graphic Design Department, 3 from the Ceramics Department, 9 from the Painting Department and 27 from the Textile and Fashion Design Department. Works prepared in a wide range from graphic design to painting, from ceramics to textile and fashion design, offered visitors the opportunity to experience different art and design disciplines together.

The works, which reveal the individual creativity and professional competence of the students, were appreciated by the visitors with their aesthetic values ​​and original approaches.

The exhibition also served as an important platform for young artists and designers in their transition to their professional lives.

The exhibition, which is a product of Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture's educational approach that encourages artistic production, once again revealed the university's contributions to cultural and artistic life.

The exhibition, to which all art lovers and the people of Çankırı are invited, can be visited at the Uluyazı Campus Health, Culture and Sports Department Foyer Area until June 5, 2026.
