Artificial Intelligence and Design Applications Activity was Held at the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture

An online event was organized by Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Textile and Fashion Design, in cooperation with DeFacto, to improve students' knowledge and skills regarding artificial intelligence-supported design processes.
Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Textile and Fashion Design Department organized an online event titled "Artificial Intelligence and Design Applications in Collaboration with DeFacto" on June 23, 2026, in order to improve students' knowledge and skills regarding artificial intelligence-supported design processes.
Assoc. DeFacto Design Team member Sezgi Beşli attended the event organized under the coordination of Arzu Evecen as a guest speaker. At the event, the areas of use of artificial intelligence technologies in fashion and accessory design were discussed, while current applications implemented in the sector and experiences regarding design processes were shared with students.
After the presentation, students had the opportunity to develop their own design ideas using artificial intelligence-supported design tools. The event was completed after answering the questions posed by the students and exchanging opinions.
The event, which brought theoretical knowledge together with industry experience, contributed to the effective use of current technologies in fashion design education, while also allowing students to evaluate artificial intelligence-supported creative design processes from a sectoral perspective.
