KORO MÜZTEK Returned with an Award from the 28th Turkish Choirs Festival

Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture Music Department choir KORO MÜZTEK was deemed worthy of the "Rhythmic Togetherness, Rhythmic Harmony Achievement Award" with its successful performance at the 28th Turkish Choirs Festival.
Çankırı Karatekin University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture Music Department choir KORO MÜZTEK achieved a significant success by participating in the 28th Turkish Choirs Festival held at Ankara Arı Culture and Art Center between 5-14 June 2026.
At the festival, where 119 choirs from different provinces of Turkey took the stage and the choirs that successfully completed the pre-selection process took part, KORO MÜZTEK was deemed worthy of the Rhythmic Togetherness and Rhythmic Harmony Achievement Award by the jury with its performance on Friday, June 12, 2026.
CHORUS MÜZTEK, consisting of students from the Music Department and consisting of 14 male and 2 female students, successfully represented Çankırı Karatekin University in a prestigious organization held at the national level, combining the educational studies carried out within the department with stage experience.
The conductor of the choir is Inst. See. Dr. Yağmur Yaşar, piano accompaniment by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tuğba Çağlak Eker took responsibility.
The choir performed selected works from Turkish, Japanese, Spanish and Hungarian music in the concert program.
Choir Chief Instructor. See. Dr. Yağmur Yaşar stated that the award was possible thanks to the devoted work of the students, the academic contribution of the Music Department and the support provided by the university, and thanked all the academic and administrative staff who contributed to the process.
This success achieved by KORO MÜZTEK, while making significant contributions to the artistic and musical development of the students, once again demonstrated Çankırı Karatekin University's qualified production approach in the field of culture and arts and its representation power at the national level.
