Great Success from ÇAKÜ in TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B Program

TÜBİTAK The scientific evaluation process of the applications made within the scope of the "2209-A/B University Students Research Projects Support Program" 2025 call, which is carried out by the Directorate of Scientist Support Programs (BİDEB) to provide research and project management experience to associate and undergraduate students, has been completed. Following the evaluations, the projects that received conditional acceptance were announced.

Çankırı Karatekin Universityhas achieved significant success by continuing its rise in the field of scientific production and project development. The number of projects eligible for support at the university increased by 41.1 percent compared to the previous year. The number of projects of the university, whose 129 projects were eligible to receive support in the 2024 call period, increased to 182 in 2025.

While Çankırı Karatekin University continues its efforts to increase the capacity of its students and academics to produce scientific projects, it continues to increase its success chart at the national level with its projects that develop the research culture.

Rector of Çankırı Karatekin University stated that the success achieved is an important indicator of the university's student-oriented approach and R&D vision. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş, used the following statements:

Each of our projects that qualify for support are works prepared with great effort that will contribute to the world of science, the future of our country and humanity.

One of the most important factors that brings us forward in the competitive environment between universities is the upward momentum we have achieved in student projects carried out by TÜBİTAK. As Çankırı Karatekin University, we do not consider the third place we achieved in the UNIDES program sufficient, and we set our goal as the first place in the 7th call period.

Likewise, we see the number of 182 projects we have achieved in TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B student projects as the beginning of new successes. In this regard, we are already continuing our preparations for new project work. “I would like to thank all the academicians who contributed, especially our students.”
