Rector Karataş Gave a New Season Message to the Women's Volleyball Team

Çankırı Karatekin University Rector Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş visited the training of ÇAKÜ Women's Volleyball Team, met with the athletes and wished them success.

Rector Karataş, who followed the training from the stands for a while, received information about the training program from the technical team.

Chatting with the athletes after the training, Karataş drew attention to the positive effects of sports on individual development, health and social life.

Stating that he also actively played handball in his youth, Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş stated that being involved in sports during the university period provides important gains both physically and socially.

Emphasizing the importance of students taking part in sports activities as well as their academic success, Karataş said that sports provide discipline, team spirit and determination to fight.

Stating that he closely followed the performance of ÇAKÜ Women's Volleyball Team in the Unilig competitions organized by the Turkish University Sports Federation, Karataş stated that the achievements were satisfactory and drew attention to the importance of planning the preparations for the new season in advance.

Emphasizing the need to work determinedly to further raise the bar of success, Karataş expressed his confidence in the athletes.

Stating that they, as the university administration, always support sports and athletes, Rector Karataş said that Çankırı Karatekin University continues its activities in different branches with approximately 200 licensed athletes.

He stated that efforts to increase the number of licensed athletes and team diversity are continuing in order to increase the university's sports success.

Expressing their satisfaction with the visit, ÇAKÜ Women's Volleyball Team athletes thanked the university administration for the support provided to them and stated that they will continue their efforts to achieve greater success in the next season.
