ÇAKÜ Increased 113 Places in URAP World Rankings
Çankırı Karatekin University increased its total score and rose 113 places in the 2025-2026 URAP World Rankings. The university continued its steady rise in research performance, scientific productivity and academic visibility.
Çankırı Karatekin University (ÇAKÜ) continued to increase its academic success chart according to the 2025-2026 URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) World Ranking results. Our university made a significant improvement by increasing its total score, which was 145.91 in the previous evaluation period, to 157.04 in the 2025-2026 period.
ÇAKÜ, which increased its total score by 11.13 points, reflected its steady development in research performance, scientific publication production and academic visibility in international rankings.
According to the results of the 2025-2026 URAP World Rankings, ÇAKÜ, which rose 113 places among 3,500 universities evaluated worldwide, succeeded in rising from 2,751st place to 2,638th place in the 2024-2025 period.
The results obtained revealed that Çankırı Karatekin University continues its efforts to increase scientific publication production, the impact of research outputs, academic document production and international academic visibility.
Çankırı Karatekin University Rector Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş, in his evaluation of the success achieved, said, "Increasing the total score of our university in the URAP World Rankings is an important indicator of the qualified development achieved in our research and publication activities with the devoted work of our academicians. We will continue our efforts to increase scientific productivity and become a more visible research university at the national and international level. We would like to thank all our academic and administrative staff and students who contributed to this rise following the important successes we achieved in ÜNİDES and TÜBİTAK projects, I believe that we will continue to work together to raise our university to higher ranks.” he said.
Çankırı Karatekin University will continue its efforts to increase the production of qualified scientific publications, strengthen its research infrastructure and increase its national and international academic visibility to higher levels in the coming period.
