A Comprehensive Evaluation of the Academic Year was Made at ÇAKÜ

Rector Prof. Dr. The meeting held under the chairmanship of Mevlüt Karataş was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. M. Nuri Öner and Prof. Dr. In addition to İbrahim Bozkurt, General Secretary Muharrem Sezen, faculty deans, deputy deans, vocational school principals and deputy principals attended.

Rector Prof. made the opening speech of the meeting. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş stated that after a busy academic year, they came together with academic unit managers to evaluate the university's education, research and institutional development processes from a holistic perspective.

Stating that Çankırı Karatekin University has made significant progress in many areas, especially scientific productivity, project activities, specialization studies and qualified education in the past academic period, Rector Karataş pointed out that the competition between higher education institutions is increasing day by day with the rapid change brought by the digital age.

Rector Karataş used the following statements in his speech:

"Çankırı Karatekin University continues to rise in all performance indicators, especially scientific production, project development, specialization and qualified education, in the past academic period. Considering the upcoming election period, our University is taking firm steps towards becoming a more attractive higher education institution for prospective students and their families with its strong scientific infrastructure, developing social opportunities and student-oriented approach. I would like to thank all my colleagues who worked devotedly in this process. Your contributions to our goal of increasing the visibility and prestige of our university in the academic world are of great importance. "I wholeheartedly believe that we will move Çankırı and Çankırı Karatekin University, which is our common denominator, forward with common sense and cooperation."

Following the opening speech, representatives of academic units made comprehensive presentations about the physical and technical infrastructures of the faculties and vocational schools, their scientific publication performance, number of students, projects carried out by TUBITAK and UNIDES, academic and administrative staff situations, the strengths and aspects of the units that need to be improved, and their goals and plans for the next period.

The meeting ended after evaluating the current situation in line with the presentations made, discussing suggestions for areas open to development, and discussing the goals for the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
