Towards the End of the Workshop That Will Strengthen the National Technology Move at ÇAKÜ

Within the scope of the National Technology Workshops Project Support carried out by TÜBİTAK, the work on the National Technology Workshop to be established within Çankırı Karatekin University has reached the completion stage.

Çankırı Karatekin University Rector Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş inspected the National Technology Workshop, where work continues to be established in the newly constructed Engineering Faculty building.

Rector Karataş examined the physical works in the workshop on site and received information about the works carried out from the contractor company representatives and university officials. Karataş instructed that the necessary care should be taken to design the workshop in a functional and qualified manner, suitable for its intended use.

Stating that it is of great importance to establish the National Technology Workshop within Çankırı Karatekin University, which aims to provide production culture to young people all over Turkey and to create qualified environments where they can turn their ideas into products, Rector Karataş stated that the workshop, which is an important example of university-TÜBİTAK cooperation, will add value to Çankırı and the region.

Stating that the National Technology Workshop will offer wide opportunities to students, Rector Karataş said:

"When Çankırı Karatekin University National Technology Workshop is completed, it will have a comprehensive infrastructure offering prototyping devices, electronic and mechanical development areas, consumable support, training and mentoring opportunities. Our workshop will enable our students to design, develop and test their projects, strengthen their technical skills and support their preparation processes for technology competitions.

We aim to contribute to our young people's ability to realize their dreams, ideas and projects in line with our country's National Technology Move targets. By supporting our young people who will develop and produce national technologies in these workshops, we will contribute to the training of qualified human resources needed by our local and national industry. "We will also support the technical and vocational training processes needed by our entrepreneurial young people."

Rector Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Karataş stated that Çankırı Karatekin University National Technology Workshop will be completed as soon as possible and put at the service of students, Çankırı and Turkey.
