General Secretary of Çankırı Karatekin University

Muharrem SEZEN was born in Ankara in 1980. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Ankara. He graduated from Anadolu University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Public Administration in 2009.

• Between 2001 and 2012, he worked in administrative units at the Ministry of Health Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital.
• Between 2012 and 2016, he worked as the Private Secretary to the President of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency.
• Between 2016 and 2018, he worked as Deputy Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Health Sciences University Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital.
• Between 2018 and 2020, he served as the Administrative and Financial Affairs Manager at the Ankara Occupational and Environmental Diseases Hospital of the Ministry of Health, and as the Founding Administrative and Financial Affairs Manager at Ankara Mamak State Hospital in the same period.
• Between 2020 and 2023, he served as Deputy Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs at Health Sciences University Ankara Training and Research Hospital.
• In addition to his primary duty during the Kahramanmaraş earthquake that occurred in February 2023, he temporarily served as Administrative and Financial Affairs Manager at Kahramanmaraş Elbistan State Hospital and Hatay Defne State Hospital.
• Between 2023 and 2025, he worked as the Support and Quality Manager at the Gülhane Training and Research Hospital of the University of Health Sciences.
• In 2025, he worked as Coordinator, Administrative and Financial Affairs Deputy Manager within the Coordinator Chief Physician Office of Health Sciences University Ankara Etlik City Hospital. 

He participated in the legislation trainings given by the Ministry of Finance and the Public Procurement Authority and gave training as a Legislation Trainer in public institutions.

Muharrem SEZEN, who is married and the father of three children, was appointed as the General Secretary of Çankırı Karatekin University on July 4, 2025.
